I'm Gorgeous Equals Track Record in Cane Pace Elimination at Freehold

Freehold, NJ – In a sparkling performance, Elmer Fannin and George Teague Jr.’s I’m Gorgeous went wire to wire to capture the Cane Pace elimination at Freehold Raceway in track record equaling time of 1:50:4.
Woodstock, a $35,000 supplemental entry, finished ¾ of a length behind the winner and 2 ¾ lengths ahead of third place finisher Valentino. Rockin Image and Urgent Action finished fourth and fifth respectively, to make it into Labor Day’s $300,000 Cane Pace final, the first leg in pacing’s Triple Crown.
With Andy Miller in the driver’s seat, I’m Gorgeous, a son of Bettor’s Delight set fractions of 26:2, 55:0, 1:22:2 and stopped the teletimer in track record equaling time of 1:50:4 held by both Art Official and Vintage Master.
I’m Gorgeous returned $5.20 to win as the second choice, sparking an exacta of $12.80 and a trifecta worth $43.20.
The first five finishers in the Cane Pace elimination will join B G’ Folly, Delmarvalous and One more Laugh, all of whom elected to take byes in to the final by virtue of their 2010 seasonal earnings.
