Freehold, NJ —- In the first half of the 52nd edition Lady Suffolk Trot, Pacific Splash took full advantage of a break past the half by Cat Manzi with 1/5 favorite Refuse to Lose. The Robert Key owned filly, Pacific Splash was guided by trainer driver Charlie Norris in 1:59.1. Finishing second was Miss Lee with Mark Lancaster, while Tyler Buter drove Cameo Credit for third.
The winner returned her backers $16.60 to win and started an exacta worth $113.20 and a trifecta of $589.40.
In division two, Cat Manzi guided Balmy Breeze to a narrow victory at the wire over 6/5 favorite Don’t Cry Lindy with Jason Bartlett. Finishing third was Sheer Glide with Jim Pantaleano.
Balmy Breeze won with a time of 1:59.2 and paid $15.20 to win and launched an exacta of $64.40 and a trifecta worth $100.80.
