Early Pick 4 Carryover at Freehold Friday
Posted 1352 days
The betting public was stumped by the late pick 4 sequence at Freehold Raceway last Saturday (March 6). No one managed to pick four winners, in a sequence that included a 61/1 longshot winner.
As a result, there will be a carryover into the early pick 4 on the Friday (March 12) card, worth $2,441.55. The sequence begins in race 2, starting at about 12:50 PM. It’s bookended by trots, with two paces, one for fillies and mares and one for horses and geldings, sandwiched in between.
Friday’s 11-race card also features a renewal of the Preferred Handicap trot. It’s scheduled as the eighth race, with an approximate post time of 2:50 PM. The race is wide-open on paper; all seven entrants are between 3/1 and 6/1 on the morning line. Kinda Lucky Lindy, who won the Preferred Handicap at Freehold on Dec. 26, is the slight favorite, for trainer Daniel Renaud and driver Dan Dube.
The first of eleven races on the Freehold Friday card is at about 12:30 PM.
